Earnings That You May Have Missed Out

1. Insinc
What is better than getting cash from your commuting every day? Insinc gives you points and will triple it when you travel by MRT or LRT every morning on off peak period. The off peak period is between 6.30-7.30am and 8.30-9.30am. You can use the points to earn cash reward which you can transfer to your CEPAS card or your bank account (this is new benefit). Registration is free. Check Insinc website for details.

2. Card rebate and rewards
If you fulfil the application's criteria, apply for debit/credit card and take advantage of the rebates and rewards. But remember not to apply too many cards. Less is more.

Then how do you know which card is best? There are so many of them.

Check EnjoyCompare.com to compare between cards and choose the most suitable and beneficial for you. It also provides you the annual card fee and eligibilty and requirements to apply. Not only that, EnjoyCompare.com also help you to compare loan products from different banks in Singapore.

3. Aid fund from government
For Singaporean and PR, there are few ways you can earn aid fund. For example, for IT workers, you can claim CITREP fund for 50% of your course and certification exam fee if you fulfill the requirements (www.ida.gov.sg). You can get some savings from income tax relief too (www.iras.gov.sg). Keep your eyes peeled for this kind of information.

4. Medical Claim from your office
Most companies in Singapore usually give a certain amount for their employees medical fee every year. So whenever the employees are unfit to work and require medication, they can reimbursement for the fee from their companies. Unfortunately, not all employees maximize this advantage. Some of them don't ask for the reimbursement or never use up this medical budget. For my case, if I still have enough budget left, I'll use it for dental treatment since it's covered by company's medical claim (of course not for aesthetic one). Definitely each company has its own policy. You just need to ask your HR personnel for the details.

5. Referral fee
I know many of you don't really bother checking about this referral program. But many retails, shops, deal sites do have referral program where you can earn some rewards, points or real money. Maybe you think the amount is too little or it's too troublesome to send the referral link or introduce to friends. But seriously, no harm to try when you're free. You can use the rewards for your next purchase discount or use it for other things if it's real money.
